WHAT IS DOWN SYNDROME?

Down syndrome is a condition that is associated with the birth of an individual with an additional chromosome, which can lead to both physical as well as learning difficulties. Individuals with Down syndrome tend to have distinct facial features, such as eye shape that looks like almond, and a flat face. They, possibly, prosocialize and develop a little bit lesser than normal and suffer from some health issues such as heart or hearing problem. In spite all these drawbacks, sufficient support such as high quality education, healthcare, and being included in the community may enable people with this disorder to enjoy good and meaningful lives.
